The volunteer structure of Walton is a Board which oversees many committees. The Board meets four times a year as does the Executive which is made up of committee chairs. Most committees meet on either a monthly or bi/monthly basis.
The official Board consists of committee chairs and representatives from the different committees.
The Board is involved in...
- the running of our church home
- being part of decision making
- planning for the future
The Board meets every other month from September to June on the first Wednesday of the month, from 7:30pm to usually 9:00pm. On the alternate months, the executive meet.
A Board Member is required to attend quarterly meetings, be a member of one of the Board committees, deliver our quarterly newsletter and serve communion.
