Exciting news for Grade 3 students today! – Each year Walton Church is proud to present our Grade 3 Sunday School students with their own copy of the Action Bible. We congratulate all those young people receiving their Bibles today. Please stay following the service to enjoy a bowl or a cone of ice cream and congratulate our young people. Thanks.

Fruit of the Vine Cheese and Wine summer party is back!! As well as great company and conversation, we’ll provide different cheeses to taste, along with other foods such as fruit and meats. Wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be served. This was a terrific event of fun and laughter in previous years and we really hope you can join us on Tuesday, June 18th from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm at a private home close to Walton. Cost is $18.00 covers it all. If possible, please bring a camp chair with you! Sign up online by Sunday, June 15th –

• Kerr Street Summer Programs – A $50. Donation sends a child to Kerr Street Mission’s summer camp for a day! Please sponsor a day or two (or more) and make a difference in a child’s life. •  VBS registration – NOT TOO LATE TO REGISTER! Join us July 8-12 for Camp Firelight, a Christ-led week full of music, games, crafts and summer camp adventure. Full and half-day programs are available for campers entering SK – Grade 5. Junior leaders in Grade 6-8 enjoy camp activities while developing leadership skills. High school and adult volunteers are warmly welcomed! Cost is $125 for full day and $60 for ½ day campers and for junior leaders. Register online – click here.

• New to Walton? Are you visiting today? Welcome! Please feel free to ask the ushers if you have any questions during the service. We invite you to fill out a welcome card in the pew racks and leave it in an offering plate at one of the doors. Please join us for coffee, tea or cold drinks and conversation in Bronte Hall after the 10:00 am service. There you’ll also find the Welcome Centre with information about Walton and someone to chat with. Walton nametags, hats, etc. are also available for purchase.
