The UCW at Walton is an active, small group of women involved in serving the church, raising funds for the church, and hosting our famous annual pre-Christmas cookie walk. Their Thursday meeting is held monthly.
All women members of the United Church are automatically members of UCW. Although most of our present members are seniors, ladies of all ages are encouraged to attend. There is no cost involved — simply a commitment to have a good time and enjoy friendship and fellowship with other women.
A Walton Church group focused for all women in their 30s, 40s and 50s… or there about… we’re not going to check your ID.
For men to gather together to help out with an event, like the Turkey Dinner, or fixing up/painting something around the church, to share stories, and build community with each other.
Our Thursday Social event happens every few months on Thursday afternoons from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to experience uplifting music of different types. We also gather together to share a visit over tea, coffee, and homemade goodies. Volunteer drivers are available upon request.
