Dear Walton Friends,

We are thrilled to announce Walton’s 175th Anniversary Service on Sunday, May 4! Walton has an enduring history tied to the Bronte community and we are so excited to celebrate 175 years of serving God and our community.

On Sunday, May 4, we will hold two services: one at 9:15 a.m. with Sunday School and youth programming and the second at 11:15 a.m.

You’re invited to take part in fellowship and refreshments following both services. It will be a wonderful time to celebrate and connect with old friends and new. We encourage those who are able, to park across the street at the Bronte Cenotaph.

To mark this important milestone, we are launching our 175th Anniversary project, “Beautifying Bronte Hall.”

With a goal of $11,000 we will improve and enhance Bronte Hall by repairing walls and re-painting this vital space. This room is such an important part of Walton. It’s here that we gather after Sunday services, enjoy community meals and celebrate special events. It’s also a space we make available to our community. Giving it a much-needed upgrade will make it even more attractive and welcoming to our members and neighbours. If you would like to donate to this project, you can do this online by clicking here. Alternatively, you can send us a cheque with “175th Anniversary” in the memo section.

We look forward to celebrating this important milestone with you. Please share this invitation with family and friends. We can’t wait to see you on May 4th!

Blessings and good wishes,
Stewardship Committee & Walton Council
