Description
No Longer Relevant? is a powerful, lively drama presented by Act 2 Studio, which explores the consequences of ageism. This play will challenge us to examine our own attitudes toward aging and the aged. Starting the conversation, looking to replace discrimination with respect.
The play is based on research studies , including focus groups undertaken by CareWatch Ontario, Act 2 Studio and researchers at Sunnybrook Health Center Nursing Research and York University. Scenes from the play have been recreated from real life situations. More than 300 senior citizens have contributed to informing this play and most of the words are theirs.
