Gill Le Fevre and her family (husband Stuart, and 2 children Caitlin and Lachlan) have lived in Canada for over five years and been part of the Walton community for almost as long. Canada is the fourth country Gill has lived in – as well as Scotland, Australia and England – which explains her unusual accent!
Gill is our Student Minister at Walton, and her involvement includes preaching (about 15 times a year), as well as frequently assisting with worship leadership and the preparation of the bulletin prayers and liturgy. Gill writes the Advent and Lent Devotionals and serves on the Worship Committee. She also assists Stuart with the preparation of the Easy Worship slides for our services, and is one of the coordinators for our Fruit of the Vine women’s group.
Gill is currently enrolled in the Masters of Theological Studies program at Emmanuel College (part time) and in addition to her position with Walton, Gill works in Communications for Cancer Care Ontario. When not working or studying, Gill enjoys playing tennis and planning family (car) camping trips
