Val Waldron is proud Nanny, Mom, and wife and feels very privileged to partner with other parents (grandparents) in the nurturing and faith development of children, youth and families together. Supporting and encouraging families to know and love Jesus, to learn and grow together in Christ.
Val is blessed to have two wonderfully enthusiastic grandsons, Jack and Jacob and is a proud Mom to her 2 sons and daughter and daughter in law. Family is her passion.
Val was first hired at Walton part time as the Senior Youth Coordinator, so she could be a stay at home Mom and work too. Realizing that Teens need a place to be on Sunday mornings, Teen Talk became a great place for teens to live, talk and grow in their faith. Val’s love for teens, children, and babies, has blessed her to share many Senior and Junior Youth Group nights, events and Retreats, Confirmation programs and services, and Sunday School lessons. She has been given a wonderful gift to share in these young ones lives, some amazing celebrations and through some very difficult times as well.
Val loves music, and dancing, and just having fun! Playing the piano and guitar is a special time of praise and worship she offers to God, and occasionally with Upside Down Church.
Val also works in the Church Office as Assistant Administrator, where she facilitates the liturgy in the services and prepares the bulletin each week. She oversees a wonderful ministry of ladies “The Friday Morning Angels” who have shared and taught her many life lessons She also co-ordinates the baptisms and funerals and is blessed to share with families in both of these seasons of life.
Val has found great comfort and hope in this scripture and loves to share it with others.

“For surely I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans to prosper and protect you, to give you a future with hope. Then when you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will hear you. When you search for me, you will find me, if you seek me with all your heart.”
~ Jeremiah 29:11-13
