THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE

At this time of year, we ask you to remember the FARESHARE FOOD BANK in Oakville as the THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE approaches.  Adding a few items to your weekly shopping list for the food bank would be very helpful.

Their greatest needs are:
→ oatmeal
→ crackers
→ jam
→ coffee (instant regular/ decaf)
→ tea (regular, green, herbal)

Snacks for kids:
→ fruit cups
→ puddings
→ juice boxes

Donated items can be placed in the baskets near each entry.

We’d also appreciate donations of fresh fruits & vegetables for our Harvest Table, decorating the sanctuary on Thanksgiving Sunday, October 8th. These items will be taken to the foodbank afterwards.

If you prefer to make a monetary donation, do so through your church envelope or online, clearly noting, “Fareshare Food Bank Donation”.

Thank you for anything you can share.

Many thanks,
Your Outreach & Worship committees
