Majesty
The prophesies of the birth of Jesus continue to confound our conventional expectation that bigger is best. Jesus’ origins are designed to appear to contradict his strength and majesty, even as his life challenges our expectations of both those qualities.
Dear Lord, majestic God,
God of the soaring skies and the smallest seeds, all creation is full of your glory. Even as we praise your name, remind us that you are Lord of the small and the weak, and that your greatness lies in your gentle strength and your humble majesty.
